The 6th Annual European Data Protection & Privacy Conference, organized by Forum Europe, took place on December 10, 2015, at The Management Centre Europe in Brussels, Belgium. Anne-Lise Thieblemont is Senior Director of Global Technology Policy and Industry Relations at Qualcomm. She is responsible for policy and regulatory affairs related to new technology and market access strategies, focusing on public policy, business strategy, and mobile internet ecosystems. She holds an engineering degree from Telecom ParisTech and an MSc in Fundamental Physics from Paris XI University.
David Francis
Chief Security Officer at Huawei Europe
David Francis is Huawei's Cyber Security Officer in Europe. He started his career with British Telecom and has held several positions in the IT sector in the UK and the US. Prior to joining Huawei, he was Chief Operating Officer with an eCommerce platform and Vice President of Operations at Symantec, responsible for the SaaS/cloud operations unit.
David Martin
Senior Legal Officer at BEUC
David Martin is a Senior Legal Officer at BEUC, the European Consumer Organisation, representing 41 independent national consumer associations from 31 European countries. He focuses on privacy, data protection, and competition. Prior to joining BEUC, he worked at Burson-Marsteller and the EU Regional Office of Murcia in Brussels. He holds a law degree from the University of Murcia and a Master's in European Law from the University of Luxembourg.

Prior to joining the FTC, she served as Senior Deputy Attorney General and Chief of Consumer Protection and Antitrust for the North Carolina Department of Justice.

Sharyn joined CA Technologies in 2002 from a niche IP/IT law firm and was admitted as a Solicitor in March 2002.

She holds degrees in Law and the Theory of Culture from Charles University, Prague.

Wojciech Wiewirowski has been Assistant European Data Protection Supervisor since December 2014. Before his appointment, he served as Inspector General for the Protection of Personal Data at the Polish Data Protection Authority and was Vice Chairman of the Article 29 Working Party.
