Christopher L. Griffin Jr. is the Research Director at the Access to Justice Lab at Harvard Law School. He earned his B.S. magna cum laude from Georgetown University, an MPhil in Economics at the University of Oxford, and his J.D. from Yale Law School, where he was an Editor for the Yale Law Journal and Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Law & Policy Review. Rochael Soper Adranly is General Counsel and Legal Design Lead at IDEO, the world's largest innovation and design firm. A JD/LLM graduate of Duke Law School, she has been representing creative and innovative individuals and organizations for nearly 20 years. Rochael has lectured at the University of California at Berkeley School of Law and served as an adjunct professor at UC Hastings College of the Law. She was featured in Modern Counsel magazine for her role as a creative counselor, bridging the rules-based world of law and the non-rules-based world of innovation. In her role as Legal Design Lead, Rochael uses IDEO's design thinking methodology to ensure that IDEO's legal processes and assets fit the human-centered culture of the firm. In 2015, she co-created IDEO's Legal Design + Innovation practice to bring IDEO's design thinking offering to clients in the broader legal industry. Rochael finds inspiration through writing, pleasure from amazing food, strength in her family, and beauty in flat-faced animals like Persian cats, pugs, owls, and especially French bulldogs.

Sean Hewens is a Senior Design Lead in IDEO’s Design for Change studio in San Francisco. He helps companies and law firms use human-centered design to transform their organizations. Sean has worked with the British government to innovate their approach to international development and led IDEO.org’s Amplify program, a five-year effort funded by the UK Department for International Development. Prior to joining IDEO, Sean served as the Executive Director of Smallbean, a social enterprise designing solar-powered computer labs in East Africa, and worked as a corporate attorney for four years. He holds an undergraduate degree from Columbia University, a law degree from Georgetown, and attended Massachusetts College of Art & Design.
