Legalweek New York 2018 was a comprehensive legal industry event held from January 29 to February 1, 2018, at the New York Hilton Midtown. The event featured five distinct conferences: LegalCIO, LegalMarketing, LegalDiversity & Talent Management Forum, Business of Law Forum, and Legaltech. These conferences covered a range of topics, including legal technology solutions, information and technology management, marketing strategies, diversity and talent management, and the business aspects of law. Notably, Legaltech, the world's largest and longest-running trade show for legal technology, delved into leading legal technology solutions and showcased how the industry's most successful law firms are preparing for the future.
Attendees had the opportunity to participate in workshop boot camps, networking events, and explore hundreds of exhibitors on the tradeshow floor. The event also featured keynote addresses from prominent figures such as Jeh Johnson, former U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security, who discussed how the legal profession can move forward amidst existential threats in turbulent times, and Brian Krebs, a data security expert, who delivered the keynote "Cyber Security Eats the World."
