Midwest IP Institute 2018

by Minnesota Continuing Legal Education

The Midwest Intellectual Property Institute is an annual conference dedicated to providing comprehensive updates and insights on critical intellectual property (IP) issues. Organized by Minnesota Continuing Legal Education (Minnesota CLE), the 2018 event took place on September 27-28 at the Minnesota CLE Conference Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The 2018 conference featured over 30 sessions covering a wide range of IP topics, including the impact of recent Supreme Court decisions, legislative developments, and emerging trends in patent, trademark, and copyright law. Notable sessions included "The Year in Trademark Law: Noteworthy Decisions and Their Impact on Your Practice" and "2018 Patent Law Update – What Happened and Why it Matters."

Attendees had the opportunity to engage with leading IP practitioners and experts, participate in panel discussions, and network with peers. The event also provided valuable resources such as the conference manual and the latest edition of The IP Book, which distills new developments into a single resource for IP practitioners.

The Midwest IP Institute is ideal for attorneys, in-house counsel, and professionals involved in intellectual property law who seek to stay informed about the latest developments and best practices in the field.
