TechLaw Conference 2018

TechLaw @ Arizona Law is a global initiative launched by the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law to explore the intersection of technology and law. The inaugural conference took place on September 28, 2018, bringing together experts from organizations such as Google, IBM Watson, NextLaw Labs, the ABA Center for Innovation, Metajure, Pew Charitable Trusts, and the ACLU.

The conference featured panels on topics including California's new privacy law, the regulation of technology, innovation for justice, and the future of the legal profession. These sessions addressed pressing issues like privacy, cybersecurity, and the impact of technology on legal practice and the administration of justice.

Keynote speaker Daniel B. Rodriguez, Harold Washington Professor and former Dean at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, provided insights into the evolving relationship between law and technology. The event also offered networking opportunities and discussions on the future of the legal profession.
