The 2019 Tsinghua World Forum on the Rule of Law, held on October 18, 2019, at Tsinghua University's Leo KoGuan Building, was organized by the School of Law at Tsinghua University. This forum convened legal scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to discuss pressing issues in the realm of law and technology.
The forum featured sessions on the legal responses to technological innovation, addressing topics such as the future of the legal profession in the context of law and technology, challenges for legal education in the era of technological innovation, and the development and challenges of legal tech and intelligent jurisdiction. Additionally, discussions covered corporate compliance in cross-border operations and the societal impacts of legal technology.

The event also marked the establishment of the Institute for International Dispute Settlement at Tsinghua University, with an opening ceremony and director appointment.
