The International Trademark Association (INTA) hosted its 2021 Annual Meeting Virtual+ from November 15 to 19, 2021. This innovative hybrid event combined five days of fully virtual education, business development opportunities, and committee meetings, augmented with one-day onsite mini-conferences in select cities worldwide.
The virtual program featured five thematic tracks: Building a Better Society Through Brands, The Business of Brands, Enforcement and Anticounterfeiting, Innovation and the Future of IP, and Regional Updates. Each track offered in-depth sessions led by industry experts, addressing current trends and challenges in the intellectual property landscape.
In addition to the virtual sessions, INTA organized one-day in-person mini-conferences in New York, Berlin, and Los Angeles. These events provided attendees with opportunities for face-to-face networking, interactive discussions, and receptions, fostering connections within the global IP community.
The Annual Meeting was designed for brand owners, IP professionals, legal practitioners, and academics seeking to stay abreast of developments in trademark law and practice.
