The National Conference of Constitutional Law Scholars is an annual event organized by the William H. Rehnquist Center at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. The 2021 conference was held virtually on March 6, 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and aimed to provide a vibrant forum for constitutional scholars to exchange ideas and engage in scholarly discussions.
The conference featured a series of panels organized by subject matter, each moderated by distinguished commentators. Key topics included Religion and Speech, Interpretation, and Separation of Powers. Notable sessions featured discussions on "Establishment’s Political Priority to Free Exercise," "Interpretive Permissions," and "Lawyering the Presidency."
In addition to panel discussions, the conference included opportunities for informal, small-group conversations between sessions, fostering networking and collaboration among scholars. The keynote address was delivered by Jamal Greene, further enriching the event's intellectual offerings.
