Maritime Law Association of the United States Fall Meeting 2022
The Maritime Law Association of the United States (MLA) is a professional organization founded in 1899 to advance reforms in maritime law, facilitate justice in its administration, and promote uniformity in its enactment and interpretation. The MLA serves as a forum for discussion and consideration of issues affecting maritime law and its administration, participating as a constituent member of the Comité Maritime International and as an affiliated organization of the American Bar Association.
The MLA's Fall Meeting is one of its two annual general membership meetings, traditionally held in a selected location each fall. These meetings provide a platform for members to engage in discussions on various maritime law topics, attend committee meetings, and participate in accredited Continuing Legal Education (CLE) presentations. The Fall Meeting offers opportunities for networking with experienced maritime lawyers, industry leaders, and other professionals involved in maritime affairs.
Attendees can expect to participate in discussions on current issues affecting maritime law, gain insights from experts in the field, and contribute to the advancement of maritime legal practices. The event is designed for legal professionals, scholars, and industry stakeholders interested in maritime law and its development.
