The 2022 Partnership Conference, organized by the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), is a premier civil legal services educational and networking event. It brings together leaders from civil legal service organizations and private law firms across New York State to discuss and advance access to justice initiatives.
The conference features over 20 workshops covering a diverse range of subjects, including program innovation and management, technology, and substantive legal topics such as immigration and Temporary Protected Status, domestic violence, consumer bankruptcy and student loan debt, and housing, among others.
Attendees have the opportunity to earn continuing legal education credits and participate in the Denison Ray Civil Awards dinner, which honors attorneys, directors, and nonprofits for their extraordinary leadership and commitment to access to justice. The event also includes networking sessions and an expo hall to facilitate professional connections and collaborations.
Legal professionals, including attorneys, legal aid staff, and advocates, should attend to stay informed on current issues, enhance their skills, and engage with peers dedicated to civil legal services and access to justice.
