Virtual Ethics & Compliance CLE Institute

The Virtual Ethics & Compliance CLE Institute is an annual event organized by the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Greater Philadelphia chapter. This program is designed to provide in-house counsel with comprehensive insights into current ethical and compliance challenges, offering practical guidance to navigate the evolving legal landscape.

The 2022 institute featured two key sessions. The first session, "Navigating Ethics in the Evolving World of ESG," addressed the ethical considerations for in-house lawyers as Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies are developed and implemented. The second session, "The Attorney-Client Privilege and the Role of In-House Lawyers," focused on recent developments in attorney-client privilege, work product doctrine, and confidentiality obligations, highlighting issues pertinent to in-house counsel.
