3rd Biennial Cooperative Law Conference

The 3rd Biennial Cooperative Law Conference, themed "Cooperative for the Modern Era," was held on January 24-25, 2023, at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center on The Ohio State University campus in Columbus, Ohio. This in-person event was organized by attorney Jacqueline Radebaugh and a team of cooperators, aiming to provide a platform for professionals to explore the evolving landscape of cooperative law and its role in fostering resilient local economies.

The conference featured a diverse array of workshops, panel discussions, and keynote sessions led by leading experts in the cooperative field. Key topics included employment law, worker cooperatives, and housing cooperatives, offering attendees insights into the tools and strategies necessary for cooperative growth and development. Notably, keynote speaker Nathan Schneider, an associate professor at the University of Colorado Boulder, presented on "21st Century Cooperatives: Multistakeholder, Platform, and DAO Cooperatives – What's New?" focusing on the future of cooperative models.

Designed to cater to a broad audience, the conference welcomed individuals from the legal sector, cooperative sector, and those interested in the cooperative business model.
