ACS Event: Fighting for Our Rights

The American Constitution Society (ACS) is hosting "Fighting for Our Rights: A Conversation with Attorney General Kwame Raoul," an event featuring Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul. This session will take place on October 18, 2023, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm Central Time at Lewis 241, Chicago, IL.

Attorney General Raoul will discuss his advocacy efforts in areas such as gun safety reform, consumer protection, police accountability, and environmental justice. He will also address his collaborations with other state attorneys general to defend access to quality health care and reproductive services, protect natural resources, advocate for just immigration policies, curb gun violence, and uphold civil rights.

The event will include a question-and-answer segment, providing attendees with the opportunity to engage directly with Attorney General Raoul. For those unable to attend in person, a Zoom registration link is available.

This event is ideal for law students, legal professionals, and community members interested in understanding the role of the Attorney General in safeguarding civil rights and promoting justice.
