The AUTM 2023 Annual Meeting, organized by the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM), took place from February 19 to 22, 2023, at the JW Marriott in Austin, Texas. AUTM is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to educating, promoting, and inspiring technology transfer professionals to support the development of academic research that impacts the world.
The meeting featured a comprehensive technical program with 80 sessions focusing on technology and the global impacts of research commercialization. Keynote speakers included Kathi Vidal, Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and Dr. Maria Elena Bottazzi, Co-Director of Texas Children's Hospital Center for Vaccine Development.
Attendees had numerous opportunities for networking, with 5,784 AUTM Connect meetings scheduled during the event. The meeting also included an expo hall showcasing various exhibitors and sponsors, providing a platform for attendees to engage with industry leaders and explore new technologies and services.
