The Corporate Counsel Women of Color (CCWC) Conference is an annual event dedicated to the professional development and advancement of women attorneys of color. Organized by CCWC, a not-for-profit organization founded by Laurie Robinson Haden, the conference serves as a platform for networking, mentorship, and education within the legal profession.
The 2023 conference featured a comprehensive program covering a wide range of topics pertinent to today's legal landscape. Sessions addressed areas such as legal innovation, leadership growth, board readiness, and best practices in law and leadership. Additionally, the event introduced the CCWC AI + Legal Tech + Innovation Symposium, focusing on the intersection of artificial intelligence and legal technology.
Attendees had the opportunity to participate in over 70 educational sessions, including a Chief Legal Officer (CLO) Symposium, General Counsel Training Boot Camps open to all levels, and a Fortune 500 Board Forum. The conference also offered Continuing Legal Education (CLE) opportunities, live demonstrations of cutting-edge tools from CCWC sponsors, and powerful networking events designed to foster meaningful connections among legal professionals.
The conference is ideal for emerging, mid-career, and seasoned legal professionals seeking to advance their careers, stay abreast of industry trends, and expand their professional networks. By attending, participants gain valuable insights, practical skills, and connections that support their growth and success in the legal field.
