Critical Conversations and Student Voices Conference
The Critical Conversations and Student Voices Conference is a student-led, in-person event organized by the Boston College Forum on Racial Justice in America. Scheduled for March 24–25, 2023, this conference aims to provide a platform for discussion and reflection on the national effects of racial injustice.
The conference will cover key topics such as education, wealth distribution, criminal justice, affordable housing, healthcare, and other national racial justice issues. These subjects will be explored in connection with their impacts on race and identity in the United States.
Attendees can expect a variety of sessions, including a keynote address by Thomas W. Mitchell, the Robert Drinan, S.J., Professor of Law at Boston College. The agenda also features breakout sessions, intercultural dialogue activities, and opportunities for networking and collaboration among participants.
