The LESI Annual Conference 2023, organized by the Licensing Executives Society International (LESI), took place from April 30 to May 2, 2023, in Montreal, Canada. This premier event brought together over 500 delegates and more than 100 speakers from around the world, focusing on the licensing of technology and intellectual property across various industries.
The conference covered a wide array of topics, including the future of Standard Essential Patents (SEPs), the impact of artificial intelligence on business and intellectual property law systems, and innovative business models in drug discovery. Sessions also addressed challenges in SEP licensing in a connected world, data-driven decision-making for IP licensing, and the role of arbitration and mediation in intellectual property disputes.
