State of Crypto - Policy and Regulation

by CoinDesk

State of Crypto: Policy and Regulation is a one-day event organized by CoinDesk, bringing together key policymakers, regulators, and government officials with legal, policy, and compliance executives from leading traditional and decentralized financial institutions. The event aims to establish best practices for the digital economy's legal, regulatory, and compliance frameworks.

The agenda includes discussions on legal case studies, priorities of the SEC and CFTC, custody, international regulation, domiciling crypto funds, self-custody rules, global frameworks, cyber and data security, consumer protection, and DeFi risk mitigation. These sessions are designed to address the most pressing issues in the crypto regulatory landscape.

Attendees will have opportunities to network with influential general counsels, chief compliance officers, and heads of policy from prominent asset management and financial services organizations. The event features interactive lunches under Chatham House Rule with representatives from key congressional offices and regulatory bodies, as well as closed-to-press breakout sessions on complex topics such as tax, custody, enforcement, and bankruptcy.

This event is ideal for professionals evaluating or actively investing in digital assets, including general counsels, chief compliance officers, chief legal officers, chief operating officers, and heads of policy and government affairs. It provides a platform to engage with key decision-makers and contribute to shaping the future of crypto regulation.
