2024 Annual Immigration Law Conference

by Federal Bar Association's Immigration Law Section

The 2024 Annual Immigration Law Conference, organized by the Federal Bar Association's Immigration Law Section, took place on May 10-11, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah. This two-day event brought together approximately 250 immigration law professionals, providing a robust platform for networking and knowledge exchange.

The conference featured three tracks of legal education, covering topics such as asylum and humanitarian issues, family and removal matters, and business immigration. Sessions included discussions on strategizing asylum cases, navigating removal defense, and exploring alternatives to PERM for employment-based immigration.

Attendees had opportunities to engage in keynote speeches, panel discussions, and informal conversations, facilitating dynamic exchanges of ideas and best practices. The event also included an awards reception, enhancing the collaborative atmosphere among practitioners.
