PLAC Spring 2024 Conference

by Product Liability Advisory Council (PLAC)

The PLAC Spring 2024 Conference, organized by the Product Liability Advisory Council (PLAC), is scheduled for April 3-5, 2024, in Nashville, Tennessee. PLAC is a nonprofit association dedicated to achieving fairness and balance in the common law of product liability.

The conference will cover a range of pertinent topics, including joint defense strategies in mass tort and product liability litigation, trends in talc and PFAS litigation, and the implications of artificial intelligence on product liability. Sessions will also address the future of multidistrict litigation (MDL), appellate review processes, and the resurgence of no-injury plaintiffs' use of class actions.

Attendees can look forward to networking opportunities through organized activities such as dine-arounds, a golf outing at the Hermitage Golf Course, and tours of local attractions like the Jack Daniel's Distillery and a Nashville city tour. The event will feature esteemed speakers, including judges from the United States District Courts and leading legal professionals from various law firms and corporations.
