The Wyoming State Bar Annual Meeting & Judicial Conference is a premier event organized by the Wyoming State Bar, designed to bring together legal professionals from across the state. Scheduled for September 10-13, 2024, at the Little America Hotel & Resort in Cheyenne, Wyoming, this conference offers a comprehensive platform for continuing legal education, professional development, and networking opportunities.
The conference features a diverse array of sessions covering pertinent topics such as trial practice, legal writing, Wyoming’s Constitution, cybersecurity and social media, attorney wellness, and the Corporate Transparency Act. A highlight includes the opening plenary on "The Use of Artificial Intelligence" by Sam Hodge from the Professional Education Group. Attendees can earn up to 19 CLE credits, including 8 hours dedicated to ethics.
In addition to educational sessions, the event offers various social and networking opportunities. These include the Judicial Luncheon featuring a presentation by the Honorable Jeffrey S. Sutton, Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the Annual Banquet with keynote speaker Julia Longoria, host and managing editor of the podcast "More Perfect." The conference also includes a Welcome Reception at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Event Center and the Access to Justice Luncheon, recognizing members who have provided exceptional pro bono service.
