ABA International Law Section 2025 Annual Conference
The ABA International Law Section's 2025 Annual Conference, themed "Adapting to Today's International Legal Challenges: A New Era?", convened over 600 legal professionals from more than 30 countries in New York City from April 28 to May 1, 2025. The event provided a platform for attorneys, managing partners, and senior legal practitioners to engage in discussions on pressing international legal issues.
The conference featured over 75 programs covering a diverse range of topics, including arbitration and mediation, artificial intelligence, criminal law, human rights, litigation, trade, and transactions. Keynote speakers included Robert Hur, former Special Counsel for the U.S. Department of Justice, and Robert DeLaMater, Secretary of the U.S. Council for International Business, who shared insights on navigating the evolving international legal landscape.

The event also honored distinguished individuals with awards, including the posthumous presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Kenneth Reisenfeld and the Louis B. Sohn Award for Public International Law to Prof. Laurence Boisson de Chazournes and Gerold W. Libby.
