PIPD Seminar 2025

The PIPD Seminar 2025, organized by the Personal Injury and Property Damage Committee of the Law Society of Singapore, took place on 24 July 2025. This annual event serves as a platform for legal professionals to discuss and gain insights into current issues and developments in personal injury and property damage law.

The seminar covered a range of pertinent topics, including the Legal Professional Indemnity Scheme with a focus on policy coverage and notification procedures, ethics and professionalism within the legal profession, the integration of artificial intelligence into legal practice, and cross-border legal considerations in personal injury and property damage cases.

Notable speakers at the event included Prabhu Jay from FINPRO, Marsh (S) Pte Ltd; Professor Leslie Chew from SUSS; Serene Lim of Bizibody Technology; Bozy Lu from Han & Lu; Raj Shergill of Lee Shergill LLP; and Abdul Salim from CIVIC Legal LLC. Additionally, Richard Wee of Richard Wee Chambers made a special appearance via Zoom to discuss the enforcement of judgments in Malaysia.
