1st Eastern European Regional SCL Conference

The 1st Eastern European Regional Society of Construction Law (SCL) Conference, titled "Construction Across Borders," is a collaborative event organized by the Society of Construction Law Serbia in partnership with the Bulgarian, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, and Turkish Societies of Construction Law. This conference is also associated with the European Society of Construction Law (ESCL) and the Society of Construction Law International. It aims to unite construction law professionals from across Eastern Europe for a day dedicated to practical insights and knowledge sharing.

The conference will cover key topics such as financing and procuring infrastructure projects, construction and contracting in the nuclear sector, the role of digital technologies and artificial intelligence on construction sites and in dispute avoidance and resolution, and various dispute avoidance and resolution mechanisms. The focus will be on providing practical insights rather than theoretical discussions.

Attendees will have opportunities for networking and engaging with peers from across the region. The event is designed for all participants in construction projects, including financial institutions, employers and project owners, contractors and subcontractors, project managers, engineers and technical consultants, construction consultants, lawyers, and legal professionals. Anyone involved in construction projects in the region is encouraged to attend to gain valuable insights and connections.

The conference will be held at the Radisson Collection Hotel, Old Mill Belgrade, located at Bulevar Vojvode Mišića 15. This venue combines contemporary aesthetics with elements of its 19th-century heritage, providing a vibrant setting near the banks of the Sava River. On-site parking is available at a rate of 300 RSD per hour. Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements and hotel reservations. SCL Serbia has obtained preferential rates for attendees at the Radisson Collection Hotel, Old Mill Belgrade; details will be sent upon registration.
