1st International Conference on the Legal Framework of Aviation Accidents, Civil Aviation Regulation, Related Disputes, and the Role of Judiciary and Arbitration in their Settlement

The 1st International Conference on the Legal Framework of Aviation Accidents, Civil Aviation Regulation, Related Disputes, and the Role of Judiciary and Arbitration in their Settlement was held on January 12-13, 2026, in Cairo, Egypt. Organized by the Egyptian State Lawsuits Authority (ESLA) in collaboration with the German University in Cairo and the Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation, the conference convened a diverse group of stakeholders, including members of the judiciary, academics, legal practitioners, aviation experts, and government officials.

Representatives from the Ministry of Civil Aviation, including Captain Rami Mansour and Captain Ayman Al-Muqaddim, also participated, providing insights into technical investigations and Egypt's international obligations in aviation.
