A Festschrift in honor of Professor Kenneth S. Abraham and the 40th Anniversary of his first book, Distributing Risk, will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. ET at the UConn School of Law in Hartford, Connecticut. This in-person symposium is organized by the Insurance Law Center at UConn School of Law to celebrate Professor Abraham's significant contributions to tort and insurance law over his distinguished career.

The event will feature a series of panels and discussions covering key topics such as the evolution of insurance law, the intersection of tort law and insurance, and reflections on Professor Abraham's forty years of influence in the field. Notable speakers include Guido Calabresi from Yale Law School, John Goldberg from Harvard Law School, and Catherine Sharkey from New York University School of Law.

Attendees will have opportunities for networking during scheduled breaks and a closing reception. The symposium is open to the public, with registration required by May 15, 2026.
