The ADA Workshop Webinar is a comprehensive two-day program organized by the National Employment Law Institute (NELI), focusing on the latest developments and practical applications of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This live webinar is designed to provide participants with in-depth knowledge and interactive learning experiences led by expert faculty.
Key topics covered in the workshop include updates on the definition of "disability," developments regarding whether an individual is "qualified," conduct rules, practical "reasonable accommodation" issues, and the overlap between ADA and FMLA. Participants will receive a PDF copy of the 59th Edition of "Resolving ADA Workplace Questions," a comprehensive research and reference workbook.
The webinar is conducted over Zoom, featuring video presentations and interactive sessions with opportunities to submit questions throughout the program. Attendees can participate in real-time or watch the recording at their convenience, with access to the recording available for six months. NELI's programs are routinely approved for credit in all jurisdictions with such requirements, providing between 6.5 to 7.8 hours of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) or Continuing Education Units (CEU) credits, depending on the jurisdiction.
This workshop is ideal for employment and labor attorneys, human resource professionals, and others involved in ADA compliance and workplace accommodations. By attending, participants will enhance their understanding of ADA regulations, stay updated on recent developments, and gain practical insights to effectively navigate ADA-related challenges in the workplace.
