AIKYAM 5.0 State-Level Legal Aid Fest

AIKYAM 5.0 is the fifth edition of the State-Level Legal Aid Fest organized by the ILS Legal Aid Centre of ILS Law College, Pune. Scheduled for March 5-6, 2026, this event marks the Golden Jubilee of the Legal Aid Centre, celebrating 50 years of dedicated service from 1976 to 2026. The fest aims to raise awareness on socio-legal themes through creative expression, providing a platform for students across Maharashtra to showcase their talents while fostering social consciousness on pressing issues affecting society.

The central theme for AIKYAM 5.0 is "Access to Justice in the Digital Era." The fest will feature a series of competitions designed to engage participants in exploring various facets of this theme. Events include a Street Play Competition (Nukkad Natak) focusing on topics like social media trials and virtual hearings, a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) Drafting Competition, an Elocution Competition, a Legal Aid Clinic Counselling Competition, and a Comic Strip Writing Competition.
