Balkan Legal Forum 2026 – Beyond Business as Usual is a premier gathering of legal leaders focused on Central and Eastern Europe. The conference will take place on 25-26 June at Park Hyatt Vienna, bringing together leading law firm partners, in-house counsel, and industry experts to explore the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing firms and their clients across the region.

Under the theme Beyond Business as Usual, this year's program will examine how law firms can remain relevant, resilient, and successful amid significant geopolitical, economic, and technological changes. Key topics include the rule of law under strain, private equity and private credit perspectives, the impact of AI and legal tech on the practice of law, ESG: sustainability and greenwashing, foreign direct investment screening, M&A and restructuring trends, business development: current market realities, law firm mergers in CEE – strategic considerations, evolving partnership models, and key drivers of success – what law firms should do tomorrow.

The program will feature 12 dynamic sessions, TED-style talks, and an engaging fireside chat, designed to deliver both strategic vision and practical takeaways. Panelists include leading practitioners and subject-matter experts from across the region and beyond.
