Be More Appealing: 2026 Appellate Law Conference

The "Be More Appealing: 2026 Appellate Law Conference" is an educational event organized by the Appellate Litigation Section of the State Bar of Nevada. Scheduled for April 7, 2026, the conference will be held both in person at the State Bar of Nevada offices in Las Vegas and virtually via webinar.

The conference features a series of sessions designed to enhance appellate practice skills. Topics include effective legal editing, understanding and applying NRAP 27 for appellate motions, insights from Nevada Supreme Court staff attorneys on best appellate practices under amended NRAPs, and a panel discussion with justices and judges from Nevada's appellate courts addressing common pitfalls in briefing and oral arguments.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network during a reception following the sessions, providing a platform to connect with peers and speakers. The event offers 4 General Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits, contributing to professional development requirements.
