EDIT Napoli 2026

by EDIT Napoli Team

EDIT Napoli is an innovative design fair dedicated to promoting and celebrating a new generation of designers. Organized by a team including Emilia Petruccelli, Domitilla Dardi, and Chiara Piperni, the event focuses on the rise of the designer-maker, challenging traditional production and distribution chains. The fair selects a specific group of international independent producers, craftsmen, and enlightened manufacturers, emerging as an autonomous force in contemporary design. The 2026 edition is scheduled to take place from October 9 to 11, with a press preview on October 8, at La Santissima in Naples, Italy.

The 2026 edition of EDIT Napoli, themed "Where Design Shapes," reaffirms the fair's commitment to a vision of design grounded in process, materials, and design responsibility. This theme emphasizes the cultural value of the project and highlights the importance of design as a tool for generating culture and opportunity. The fair aims to put the creative process, material research, and social responsibility of design back at the center, moving away from ephemeral images and fleeting trends.

Attendees can expect a variety of exhibitions and installations showcasing textiles, ceramics, furniture, and design objects. Notable projects include international initiatives like Crochet Coral Reef and the "Light on Spain" collective. The event also features a city-wide program of exhibitions and site-specific installations concentrated in the Chiaia district, fostering a dialogue with the urban heritage. Public workshops, such as the CoPain baking workshop and Alison Martin's "Shape / Anti-shape," explore materials, techniques, and transformation processes. The fair is open to the public from October 9 to 11, 2026, between 10 AM and 7 PM at La Santissima, Vico Trinità delle Monache 1, Naples, Italy.

EDIT Napoli serves as a platform for development and business opportunities within the contemporary design landscape. It brings together designers, companies, and artisans to exhibit their high-quality creations, fostering collaborations between producers and international talents. The fair is open to designers, design studios, manufacturers, artisans, and producers whose practices are rooted in making. The "Seminario" section is dedicated to young designers, artisans, and entrepreneurs under 30 or companies established not more than three years ago, providing an exhibition space shared by emerging talents curated by Emilia Petruccelli and Domitilla Dardi.
