The International Bar Association (IBA) is organizing the Next Gen Legal Summit titled "Legal Profession in Transition – Reimagining Practice, Technology and Dispute Resolution" on November 27, 2026, at the Taj Mahal Hotel in New Delhi, India. Notably, Dr. Lalit Bhasin, Immediate Past President of The Bar Association of India, will moderate a session titled "The grand debate: this House believes that the nationality of an arbitrator is a legitimate basis for challenging impartiality in disputes involving a state engaged in geopolitical conflict." This session is scheduled for 3:15 PM to 4:45 PM on the day of the summit.
