2026 National NALSA Annual Conference

The 2026 National NALSA Annual Conference, themed "Building Community and Institutional Knowledge for Future Indigenous Legal Warriors," is organized by the National Native American Law Students Association (NNALSA). This event marks the 56th anniversary of NNALSA and aims to honor the graduating class of 2026. The conference will be held on April 9-10, 2026, at the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The conference will feature a diverse range of sessions exploring Federal Indian Law and strategies for serving Indian Country as legal professionals. Attendees can expect workshops, panel discussions, and presentations addressing current legal challenges and opportunities within Indigenous communities.
In addition to the main conference events, NNALSA is partnering with the Native American Bar Association of Arizona (NABA-AZ) for a Golf Tournament on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. The American Indian Law Center, Inc. (AILC) is also collaborating with the Tribal In-house Counsel Association (TICA), NNALSA, and the University of New Mexico School of Law Career Services to offer workshops for American Indian and Alaskan Native law students attending the Federal Bar Association Indian Law Conference. Travel reimbursements are available for qualified students on a first-come, first-served basis.
