The Privacy Symposium is an international conference dedicated to promoting dialogue, cooperation, and knowledge sharing on data governance, regulatory compliance, and innovative technologies. Scheduled from April 20 to 24, 2026, at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, Italy, the event is organized by a consortium including Mandat International, the Italian Institute for Privacy (IIP), Archimede Solutions, IoT Lab, and Dunavnet.
The symposium will feature over 100 sessions with more than 400 top-level speakers, covering thematic tracks such as International Cooperation, Artificial Intelligence and Compliance, Innovative Technology and Law, Data Regulations in Practice, Health and Medical Data Compliance, Economy and Compliance, Research and Innovation, Accountability, Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PET), and Certification, as well as the evolving roles of Data Protection Officers (DPOs) and Bar Associations.

The event aims to facilitate international dialogue, cooperation, and convergence in data protection regulations and standards.
