2026 Property, Family & Planning Law Conference

The 2026 Property, Family & Planning Law Conference is a full-day event dedicated to advancing legal discourse in property, family, and planning law. Organized by 2 Selborne Chambers, the conference aims to bring together legal professionals to discuss and explore current issues and developments in these areas.

The conference will feature keynote addresses from His Honour Judge Terry Betts and the Honorable Fabian Gleeson SC. Additionally, guest speakers Ian Duane and Adrian Maroya, along with 2 Selborne barristers including Simon Burchett, Cameron Jackson, Laina Chan, Leo Gor, Mark Friedgut, Dr. James Smith, Damien Toohey, Jack Whelan, and Michelle Meares, will provide in-depth perspectives and practical insights on key issues shaping property, family, and planning law.

Attendees will have the opportunity to earn 6 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) points, including 1 point in ethics. All profits from the conference will be donated to Jenny's Place, a not-for-profit community-based service established in Newcastle since 1977, providing support to women and children experiencing domestic violence and homelessness.
