Riyadh International Disputes Week 2026
Riyadh International Disputes Week 2026 (RIDW26) is a premier global forum dedicated to dispute resolution, held from February 1 to 5, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Organized by the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA), this event underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to advancing the dispute resolution industry and reinforcing its position as a regional and international hub for arbitration, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution.
The week-long program featured a comprehensive array of conferences, panel discussions, workshops, and networking events. Key topics included the development of institutional arbitration frameworks, integration between the judiciary and arbitration, and the future of dispute resolution amid rapid economic and technological transformations. Notably, the SCCA 5th International Conference attracted high-level participation, focusing on enhancing the institutional arbitration system and aligning judicial practices with international standards.
RIDW26 also celebrated the 60th anniversary of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) with a dedicated forum, highlighting UNCITRAL's contributions to unifying international trade laws and Saudi Arabia's partnership with international organizations. The event provided ample networking opportunities, including the Official RIDW Gala Dinner and the SCCA International Arabic Moot (SIAM7) Awards Ceremony, fostering connections among legal professionals, business leaders, and academics from around the world.
Legal practitioners, arbitrators, policymakers, academics, and business leaders involved in dispute resolution and international trade were encouraged to attend RIDW26. The event offered a unique platform to engage with global experts, gain insights into the evolving landscape of dispute resolution, and explore opportunities for collaboration in the MENA region and beyond.
