Jorge Dezcallar is a Spanish diplomat who has served as Head of the Middle East Desk and Political Director at the Foreign Ministry, and as Ambassador to Morocco, the Holy See, and the United States. He also led Spains National Intelligence Centre (CNI). An accomplished author, he has published memoirs, books on geopolitics, and spy novels, with his third novel forthcoming next year.
