Nelly R. Herrera

Nelly R. Herrera has been with the Texas State University System Office of General Counsel since July 2011. She is a magna cum laude graduate of St. Mary’s University in San Antonio and received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. Prior to joining TSUS, Nelly worked with the Texas Attorney General’s Office, serving as Division Chief of the Tort Litigation Division. She is board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law and received the 2009 Government Service Award from the Travis County Women Lawyers’ Association.
