RSA Conference 2018, held from April 16 to April 20 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, was the 27th annual gathering of cybersecurity professionals and business leaders. Organized by RSA Conference, this event is renowned for bringing together experts to discuss emerging cybersecurity trends and strategies for addressing current and future threats.
The conference featured over 550 sessions covering a wide array of topics, including artificial intelligence, data privacy, gamification, and the history of technology and innovation. Notable sessions included "Early Detections of Malicious Activity – How Well Do You Know Your DNS?" by Merike Kaeo, and "Foundations of Bitcoin, Blockchain and Smart Contracts" by Ben Jun and Linda Xie.
Attendees had the opportunity to engage in various networking events, explore the expo floors with more than 600 companies showcasing their products, and participate in hands-on experiences like the SANS NetWars in the Sandbox. The event also highlighted the Innovation Sandbox Contest, where BigID was named "Most Innovative Startup" for its privacy and personal data protection solutions.
