The IAPP Europe Data Protection Congress 2021 is an annual conference organized by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), a not-for-profit association founded in 2000 with a mission to define, promote, and improve the professions of privacy, AI governance, and digital responsibility globally. This event brings together professionals from across the data protection, AI governance, and cybersecurity law sectors to discuss the latest developments and challenges in the field.

The conference covers a wide range of topics, including adtech regulation and enforcement, anonymization and pseudonymization in AI, AI governance responsibilities and compliance, cross-border data transfers, cybersecurity law requirements and incident response, data retention and data subject rights, European and global data protection enforcement trends, European regulatory developments such as the DMA, DSA, and Data Act, employee and workplace privacy, and the intersection of digital laws and policies.
