The PTAB Bar Association is hosting a panel discussion titled "Discretionary Denials" on February 20, 2025. This event is organized by the PTAB Bar Association's Program Committee and will be conducted as a webinar.
The panel will focus on the types of discretionary denials of Inter Partes Review (IPR) petitions commonly encountered at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), with particular emphasis on the Fintiv factors. Discussions will also cover stipulations and strategies that both petitioners and patent owners can adopt during IPR proceedings.
