Presentation of Report: Data Governance and Data Protection

The IE Digital Law Observatory – ECIJA invites you to the presentation of its third report, the result of a focus group composed of directors and managers of legal departments from Amazon Web Services, Amadeus IT, Xiaomi, Glovo, Mobile World Capital, MAPFRE, Liberty Seguros, Canon, Nestlé, Johnson & Johnson, and IE University.

The event will feature a presentation of the report by Teresa Pereyra, IT & Privacy Partner at ECIJA, followed by a round table discussion titled “Data governance: main challenges in the coming years in procedures, people, and infrastructures.” The round table will be moderated by Yolanda González Corredor, Data Protection Delegate at Cepsa, with the participation of Ana Regidor, Privacy Director at Amadeus IT Group; Borja Larrumbide, Security Manager for Spain and Portugal at Amazon Web Services; and Marcos García-Gasco, Associate Legal Director (DPO Europe) at Xiaomi.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with industry leaders, gain insights into the latest trends in data governance and protection, and network with peers from various sectors. The event is designed for professionals involved in legal, compliance, and data protection roles who are interested in understanding the evolving landscape of data governance and its implications for their organizations.
