Conference on Arbitration Law

The Conference on Arbitration Law is a two-day event organized by the Gujarat High Court in collaboration with the Gujarat State Judicial Academy. Held at the Gujarat High Court Auditorium, the conference aims to advance the legal process of arbitration in Gujarat and strengthen dispute resolution mechanisms outside traditional courts.
The conference covers multiple aspects of arbitration law, including party autonomy and the supportive role of courts, challenges to arbitrators, the principle of legal precedent, the principle of equity, interim measures, anti-suit injunctions, statutory arbitration, termination of mandate and substitute arbitrator, formation of the award, costs and termination of proceedings, enforcement of the award, jurisdiction of courts, and limitation period.
The event features addresses from prominent figures such as Supreme Court judge Justice N V Anjaria, Gujarat High Court Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal, and Solicitor General of India Tushar Mehta.
