iLaw 2026

The iLaw Conference is the International Law Section's flagship annual event, renowned for its comprehensive exploration of international legal topics. Since its inception in 2002, iLaw has attracted legal practitioners from the United States, Canada, Europe, Latin America, and beyond. The 2026 conference was held on February 13 at the JW Marriott Marquis in Miami, Florida.

The 2026 conference featured an opening plenary session titled "One Region, Many Rules: Risk Management Strategies in LatAm Markets," focusing on the complexities of risk management in Latin American markets. The event also offered three parallel tracks: International Arbitration, International Litigation, and International Business Transactions. Notable sessions included "Innovation, Integrity, and Reform: Investment Arbitration at a Turning Point," "Inside the Strategy Room: Institutional, Corporate, and Counsel Perspectives on International Arbitration," and "Geopolitics and Supply Chains 2.0: Legal Strategies in an Era of Realignment." The conference concluded with a closing panel titled "Tech Meets Tropics: Miami at the Intersection of Innovation and International Law."

Attendees had the opportunity to network during the opening cocktail reception at Boulud Sud and the closing reception, both held at the JW Marriott Marquis. The conference also featured a luncheon keynote address by Robert Mahari, Associate Director of the Stanford CodeX Center.
