William E. Kovacic

William E. Kovacic is the Global Competition Professor of Law and Policy at George Washington University. He served as a member of the Federal Trade Commission from January 2006 to October 2011, chairing the agency from March 2008 to March 2009. Kovacic has advised numerous countries and international organizations on antitrust, consumer protection, and regulatory institution design. He is co-editor of the Journal of Antitrust Enforcement and co-author of 'Antitrust Law in Perspective: Cases, Concepts and Problems in Competition Policy.'
