Christiane Wendehorst

Christiane Wendehorst has been Professor of Civil Law at the University of Vienna since 2008. She is a founding member and Immediate Past President (2017-2021) of the European Law Institute (ELI), chair of the Academy Council of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW), and Co-Head of the Department of Innovation and Digitalisation in Law. Her research focuses on legal aspects of digitalisation, including digital content, the Internet of Things, AI, and data economy.
