The 7th International LADR Workshop is a scholarly event focusing on the legal aspects of engineering and construction, organized by the Journal of Legal Affairs and Dispute Resolution in Engineering and Construction, published by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). This workshop serves as a platform for construction lawyers, engineers, and scholars to present and discuss legal questions arising from real-world projects, fostering peer-reviewed publications and collaborative discourse.

Scheduled from June 8 to 10, 2027, at the ASCE Headquarters in Reston, Virginia, the workshop will commence with a welcome reception on June 7. Participants are invited to submit abstracts addressing topics such as contract law, professional liability, alternative dispute resolution, construction claims, and environmental compliance. Accepted manuscripts will undergo peer review and be published in a special collection of the Journal of Legal Affairs and Dispute Resolution in Engineering and Construction.

The event offers networking opportunities through the welcome reception and conference dinner, allowing attendees to engage with peers and experts in the field. Registration details, including fees and deadlines, will be announced in December 2026. Early bird registration is expected by April 21, 2027, with the workshop sessions running from June 8 to 10, 2027.
